Benthic Love is a game about exploring the ocean depths as an angler fish. This is not the kind of fish that can be found in a poker app, but a true sea devil with a predominantly curious appearance. The artwork is fantastic and the biology is spot on (from what I’ve explored of the game anyway). It is a fun little game that does an excellent job of marrying teaching the biology of a fascinating organism and have fun in a simple game.
Here is the author’s description:
– 5 endings!
– Learn interesting facts about the ocean depths!
– Art by the amazing Sonya Hallett!
– The ONLY LGBT-friendly anglerfish dating sim!
and the original site with a further explanation and the author’s reason for creating the game.
The game can be downloaded here.
